What the service involves
The proposed radiator size, position and connections need checking against the existing heating system. The agreed work may involve pipe alterations, new valves and isolating or draining part of the system. Ask how the system will be refilled and tested, and how long heating may be unavailable.
Preparing for installation
Share the radiator model, dimensions and preferred location before buying fittings. Mention the current heating system and any leaks or uneven heating. Clear safe access around the proposed position. Wall suitability and fixings should be assessed as part of planning; confirm any electrical work separately.
